The Ten Commandments Of Marriage

I had a good time reading this article which I got from my e-mail. As a married woman, there are things that I need to know to adjust myself to a married life. I waited for 40 longs before God sent me my life partner and I want our married life to last for as long as we live.

Commandment 1
Marriages are made in heaven. But, so again, are thunder and lightning.

Commandment 2
If you want your wife to listen and pay strict attention to every word you say, talk in your sleep.

Commandment 3
Marriage is grand -- and divorce is at least 100 grand!

Commandment 4
Married life is very frustrating. In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens. In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens. In the third year, they both speak and the neighbors listen.

Commandment 5
When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure of one thing: Either the car is new or the wife is.

Commandment 6
Marriage is when a man and woman become as one. The trouble starts when they try to decide which one.(I couldn't decide which one either!)

Commandment 7
Before marriage, a man will lie awake all night thinking about something you say. After marriage, he will fall asleep before you finish.

Commandment 8
Every man wants a wife who is beautiful, understanding, economical, and a good cook. But the law allows only one wife.

Commandment 9
Marriage and love are purely a matter of chemistry. That is why a wife treats her husband like toxic waste.

Commandment 10
A man is incomplete until he is married. After that, he is finished.

Bonus Commandment story:

A long married couple came upon a wishing well. The wife leaned over, made a wish and threw in a penny. The husband decided to make a wish too. But he leaned over too
much, fell into the well, and drowned. The wife was stunned for a moment but then smiled, "It really works."

Happines Is...

I got this from my e-mail and it really made my day. Can't help myself but laugh while reading it. I just want to share and make your day too. Just read on...

[]
A fart is a pleasant thing,
It gives the belly ease,
It warms the bed in winter,
And suffocates the fleas.

[]
A fart can be quiet,
A fart can be loud,
Some leave a powerful,
Poisonous cloud

[]
A fart can be short,
Or a fart can be long,
Some farts have been known
To sound like a song.....

[]
A fart can create
A most curious medley,
A fart can be harmless,
Or silent , and deadly.

[]
A fart might not smell,
While others are vile,
A fart may pass quickly,
Or linger a while......

[]
A fart can occur
In a number of places,
And leave everyone there,
With strange looks on their faces.
[]
From wide-open prairie,
To small elevators,
A fart will find all of
Us sooner or later.
[]

But farts are all bad,
Is simply not true-
We must never forget.......
Sweet old farts like you!

[]

Kinda brings a tear to your eye - right?

I know, I know...you're not all old farts. But, I bet you got a kick out of reading it.

Peroxide, Safer Than Bleach

This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a doctor's wife) , and I want to share it with you. She was over recently for coffee and smelled the bleach I was using to clean my toilet and countertops. This is what she told me...

I would like to tell you of the benefits of that plain little ole bottle of 3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store. What does bleach cost?

My husband has been in the medical field for over 36 years, and most doctors don't tell you about peroxide. Have you ever smelled bleach in a doctor's office? NO!!! Why? Because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask the nurses who work in the doctor's offices, and ask them if they use bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!

Did you als o know bleach was invented in the late 40's? It's chlorine, Folks! And it was used to kill our troops. Peroxide was invented during WWI in the 20's. It was used to save and help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals. Please think about this.

1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe.) No more canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash.

2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of germs.

3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.

5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.

6 Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.

7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most other disinfectants will.

8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue.

9 If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.

10. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through You will not have the peroxide-burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown , faddish, or dirty blonde. It also lightens gradually, so it's not a drastic change.

11 . Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid boils, fungus, or other skin infections.

12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is why I love it so much for this.

I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad there's a way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner!

My Friend's Baby

A week ago, my friend Mary Ann with her hubby and newborn baby came by in our house and spent a few hours with us. It was my first time to see baby Caroline and she's a cute one. She got the facial features of her mom and the skin color from her dad. I got to hold her for a few minutes while she was sleeping. My hubby had held Caroline too and I took some photos.

This baby is the answer to Ann's prayers. She and her hubby Jeff had been wanting to have a baby but it took time before they had one. The doctor even told them that Jeff lack sperm count and it's impossible for them to have a baby. But Ann didn't give up. She kept on praying and believing that God will bless them with a baby in due time. God honored her faith and He give them baby Caroline, a miracle baby. Despite Ann's health issues, the baby was born healthy via caesarian section. God is so good and I'm happy for them. I am one of Ann's prayer partners when she was pregnant. We pray and lift each each other through prayers.

Marry A Texas Girl?

The first man married a woman from OHIO. He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a woman from MICHIGAN . He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done, and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man married a girl from TEXAS . He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything. But by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down, and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher.
