Posted by Lisa at Wednesday, January 02, 2008Most people now own gadgets like iPods, cellphones, smart phones, etc. These stuffs are not cheap that's why we need to take good care of them. We don't want them to break or have some scratches on it. My hubby's cellphone and my digicam has a case for protection in case it accidentally fall. The case is a good protection for any gadgets that we own. I don't have an iPod yet and I've been wanting to have one but I don't have the money to buy one for now. Maybe in the next days to come. I have to earn more so I can buy one for myself. I don't want to bug my hubby about buying one for me because his salary is for our necessities and our monthly bills. To those people who have an ipod and want to purchase a case for it, then you can buy it at shieldzone.com. The site is selling invisibleSHIELD which is a revolutionary ipod case that protects not only iPods but most cell phones, smartphones, macbooks, portable gaming consoles, etc. This invisibleSHIELD will be a good buy because it will give protection to your gadgets so it will last long. You will surely get your money's worth when you buy this product. Try it now.

Ice Cream Cone
Posted by Lisa at Tuesday, January 01, 2008 Paul Newman
Only women of a certain era will fully appreciate this....true story. (if you don't understand this, tell your mother, she'll get it)
A Michigan woman and her family were vacationing in a small New England town where Paul Newman and his family often visited.
One Sunday morning, the woman got up early to take a long walk. After a brisk five-mile hike, she decided to treat herself to a double-dip chocolate ice cream cone.
She hopped in the car, drove to the center of the village and went straight to the combination bakery/ice cream parlor.
There was only one other patron in the store. Paul Newman, sitting at the counter having a doughnut and coffee. The woman's heart skipped a beat as her eyes made contact with those famous baby-blue eyes. The actor nodded graciously and the star struck woman smiled demurely.
Pull yourself together! She chides herself. You're a happily married woman with three children, you're forty-five years old, not a teenager!
The clerk filled her order and she took the double-dip chocolate ice cream cone in one hand and her change in the other. Then she went out the door, avoiding even a glance in Paul Newman's direction.
When she reached her car, she realized that she had a handful of change but her other hand was empty. Where's my ice cream cone? Did I leave it in the store? Back into the shop she went, expecting to see the cone still in the clerk's hand or in a holder on the counter or something. No ice cream cone was in sight.
With that, she happened to look over at Paul Newman. His face broke into his familiar warm friendly grin and he said to the woman,
You put it in your purse

Body Cream and Lotion
Posted by Lisa at Sunday, December 30, 2007
My friend Ann told me the other day that there was a sale in Bath & Body Works just for 4 days. I love the scents of Bath & Body Works lotion. It really smell good. I used to love Victoria Secret when I was in the Philippines. In fact when hubby went in the Philippines the second time I asked him to buy for me Victoria Secret lotion and he did. He bought me several bottles of Victoria Secret lotion, perfume and exfoliating cream. When I got here in the US I tried Bath and Body Works lotion and I love the smell too. So hubby and I went to the mall yesterday to avail of their sale. As expected, lots of people were there, mostly ladies of course. I even saw my friend Arlene there who also went there to avail of the sale. Imagine the body cream which has a price tag of $10.50 was marked down to $3 only. I got 4 of them, he-he! The lotion which was $9.50 was on sale for $4. I only got 2. I had to fall in line when I checked out. Line was long. Now I have a stock of body cream and lotion.

Happy Moments
Posted by Lisa at Friday, December 28, 2007So Christmas is over but the memories remain. I captured those moments with my digicam. I can always always look at the photos and see what we did this time of year. I will always cherish those moments and I'll be remembering it when hubby and I decide to go back to the Philippines. My hubby and his kids are my family here and they are dear to me. Here are photos of my hubby with his kids taken on Christmas.
