I hope this does not offend anyone.....but its funny....
A girl walks into a bar in Texas , orders a beer and sits down at the
bar where a Mexican and an Iraqi are also drinking beers.
The Mexican drinks his beer and suddenly throws his glass in the air, pulls out his pistol and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, "In Mexico our glasses are so cheap we don't need to drink from the same glass twice."
The Iraqi, obviously impressed by this, drinks his beer, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his AK-47 and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, "In Iraq we have so much sand to make glasses that we don't need to drink out of the same glass twice either."
The Texas girl, cool as a cucumber, picks up her beer and drinks it, throws her glass into the air, pulls out her gun, shoots the Mexican and the Iraqi, then catches her glass. She says, "In Texas we have so many illegal Mexicans and Arabs that we don't have to drink with the same ones twice".

Romantic Love
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 28, 2008My hubby and I have been married for more than five years. During our first year of being married, we were so sweet and romantic with each other. We were like inseparable and where I go, he was with me. Now after a few years, the sweetness is still there but not as sweet and romantic as before. The busy-ness of life creeps in. We need to think of romantic ideas to rebound relationships like most couples are doing to preserve their relationships and marriages. Writing romantic note or love letter will surely rekindle the fire and will make us love each other more and more as time goes by.
Facts To Ponder
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 28, 2008As I was reading this article from my e-mail, I can't help but be alarmed by these statistics. We should be aware of what's happening around us so we can take some precautions. Just read on.
(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000
(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.
Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health Human Services.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Now think about this:
Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.
(Yes, that's 80 million..)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188
Statistics courtesy of the FBI
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>
Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
This is really an alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Out of concern for the public at large, they have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!
Mantle Clocks
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 28, 2008I love collecting different kinds of clocks. We already have several wall clocks hanging in our house. We have wall clocks in the kitchen, dining room, living room and in our bedrooms. I just want to look at the time so I wanted to have clocks all around our house. While browsing the net, I happened to see different styles of mantle clocks and it caught my eye. The site carries different designs and styles of clocks. I really like their Howard Miller clocks. It's one thing that we haven't have yet and we're dreaming to have one. Whenever we go and visit some of our friends and we see their grandfather clocks, the more hubby and I wants to have one too. I am so fascinated with the styles of Howard Miller mantle clocks. Oh my, all their clocks were exquisitely designed and they are so pretty! I like to have the Howard Miller Filmour Grandfather Clock. It looks so elegant and it would perfectly fit in our living room. They have also a clock's blog and I read there that clocks can transform the look of a home. It will make your house look so elegant especially with the presence of a Howard Miller clock. Just visit the site and browse at their Howard Miller clocks like grandfather or grandmother clocks, Mantel clocks, wall clocks, atomic clocks, home decor, watches and fine jewelries. They offer free USA shipping and in-home set up too. That is cool.
Guide For Staying Young
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 28, 2008We all need to read this one over and over until it becomes part of who we are!
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Try everything twice. On Madams tombstone (of Whelan's and Madam) she said she wanted this epitaph: Tried everything twice...loved it both times!
2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down. (keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches;)
3. Keep learning: Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER. < /B>
6. The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. LIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity. I love you, my special friend.
11. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time.
Lost time can never be found.
Credit Cards for Bad Credit
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 28, 2008I know that it's not easy to apply for a credit card if you have a bad credit history. If you need cash for emergency purposes, it's hard to get a loan or borrow money from lenders. People with bad credit history would be happy to know about this site that help consumers get back on their feet financially. You can apply for their bad credit credit cards online. They provide consumers with the knowledge and resources necessary to help them find the best credit offer to fit their need, regardless of a bad credit history. Consumers can choose a category of bad credit offers like credit cards, home loans, auto loans, personal loans, etc. Rather than applying for the first offer that comes in the mail, the site allows visitors to compare dozens of bad credit offers from major providers and find the best offer that fit their needs. And by making payments on time, consumers can rebuild their credit and perhaps their financial future.
How To Lose Weight
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 28, 2008A lot of people wants to lose weight. My hubby has been trying to shed off some excess pounds and last time he had this yoyo diet. He lost some and then gained it back. I read an article of how to lose weight. The common denominator is always proper diet and exercise, which not only aid in weight loss, but also keep a body healthy. Of course you've heard this before--the challenge is to follow through. Others have lost weight by following these simple guidelines, and so can you.
Step 1:
Set small, realistic goals. If you have a lot of weight to lose, try for 5 pounds, relax a bit and then go for 5 more.
Step 2:
Start a regular exercise program and stick with it. Don't be afraid of those sweat suits and Lycra pants!
Step 3:
Sneak in extra exercise in addition to your regular program. Park at the far end of the parking lot and walk; take the stairs instead of the elevator.
Step 4:
Healthy foods are an important ingredient in losing weight. Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas.
Step 5:
Choose foods that you like. Learn to prepare healthful, low-calorie foods that taste good by checking healthy cook books for new recipes. Eating well doesn't have to mean eating dull.
Step 6:
Eat smaller, more frequent meals. This way, your body starts to increase its metabolism so that calories are burned faster. Also, mini-meals can prevent overeating.
Step 7:
Plan ahead. Keep the fridge stocked with healthful food and you'll be less likely to run out for high-calorie, high-fat junk food.
Step 8:
Keep a food diary. This will help you pinpoint where you can improve your diet.
Step 9:
Once you discover your favorite snack time, be sure to have plenty of healthful options available.

Colonoscopies
Posted by Lisa at Tuesday, February 26, 2008TOO FUNNY - THE LAST ONE IS THE BEST
Colonoscopies are no joke, but these comments during the exam were quite humorous..... A physician claimed that the following are actual comments made by his patients (predominately male) while he was performing their colonoscopies:
1. "Take it easy, Doc. You're boldly going where no man has gone before!
2. "Find Amelia Earhart yet?"
3. "Can you hear me NOW?"
4. "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"
5. "You know, in Arkansas , we're now legally married."
6. "Any sign of the trapped miners, Chief?"
7. "You put your left hand in, you take your left hand out..."
8."Hey! Now I know how a Muppet feels!"
9. "If your hand doesn't fit, you must quit!
10. "Hey Doc, let me know if you find my dignity."
11. "You used to be an executive at Enron, didn't you?"
12. "God, now I know why I am not gay."
And the best one of all
13. "Could you write a note for my wife saying that my head is not up there?"

Social Security Lesson
Posted by Lisa at Monday, February 25, 2008I thought this was interesting.
Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn't know this. It's easy to check out, if you don't believe it. Be sure and show it to your kids. They need a little history lesson on what's what and it doesn't matter whether you are Democrat of Republican. Facts are Facts!!!
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:
1.) That participation in the Program would be for tax purposes each year, completely voluntary.
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program,
3.) That the money the participants elected to put Into the Program would be deductible from their income.
4.) That the money the participants put into the Independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program.
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees Would never be taxed as income.
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month -- And then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to "put away" -- you may be interested in the following:
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the Independent "Trust Fund" and put it into the General fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democrat controlled .- House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax Deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democratic Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the "tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving Annuity payments to immigrants?
A: Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!
And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it!
If enough people read this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn't so. But it's worth a try. Actions speak louder than bumper stickers.
AND CONGRESS GIVES THEMSELVES 100% RETIREMENT
FOR ONLY SERVING ONE TERM !!!!
A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.
Thomas Jefferson
Fairy Tale
Posted by Lisa at Monday, February 25, 2008
This is so cute, it made me smile while reading it. This is true to most of those politicians who are campaigning for the coming elections. They promise a lot of things but when they get elected, they forget everything they promised and it became a fairy tale. I just wish that the candidates will live up to what they say and honor their words.

Shopping Feedback
Posted by Lisa at Sunday, February 24, 2008A day after Thanksgiving is called blackfriday wherein most people go shopping here in the US. Black Friday is the day when major retailers around the country discount products to help kick off the Christmas shopping season. The Black Friday ads are usually kept secret until you receive the circulars in your Thanksgiving Day newspaper. However at their site, they give you the advantage by showing you all of the Black Friday ads before anyone else. They also offer direct links to each product so you can purchase the items online on Black Friday without having to stand in line at the store! I myself love to shop during black friday and using the site really was a great help. I didn't have to wake up early in the morning and go to a crowded store, fall in a long line and wait that long. Shopping online was a lot more convenient and I bought stuff for me and my loved ones. The site carry most of the popular stores where most people love to shop. I love shopping at Best Buy because they offer good deals there especially electronic devices. This is where I bought my laptop computer and my digital camera. I also bought there a mini digicamcorder for my hubby. The site is really cool and it's really convenient to shop there. They carry most of the merchant stores where people love to shop.

Surgical News
Posted by Lisa at Saturday, February 23, 2008It's been on the news that half of Brits 'would have cosmetic surgery'. Almost half of all UK adults - 44 per cent - would consider having cosmetic surgery at some point in their lives, it has been revealed. I think the main reason is that people in UK are conscious in the way they look. They want to look better that's why they consider having a cosmetic surgery. Take for example the women who have small breasts. They want to look gorgeous and appealing so they undergo Breast Enlargement UK. Most of the female movie stars who are not well endowed physically undergo this cosmetic surgery. According to the news , the survey revealed that British mothers are most likely to go under the knife, than any other group.
Important Safety Tips
Posted by Lisa at Saturday, February 23, 2008Everyone should take 5 minutes to read this. It may save your life or a loved one's life.
Crucial
Because of recent abductions in daylight hours, refresh yourself of these things to do in an emergency situation... This is for you, and for you to share with your wife,
your children, everyone you know. After reading these 9 crucial tips, forward them to someone you care about. It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.
1 . Tip from Tae Kwon Do :
The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do!
2. Learned this from a tourist guide in New Orleans
If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you.... chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse.
RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS!). The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF, repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.
5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor, and in the back seat
B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
C.) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side.. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ RUN, Preferably in a zig -zag pattern!
8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP. It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked "for help" into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.
9. Another Safety Point:
Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late and she thought it was weird. The police told her "Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door." The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over. The policeman said, "We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do, DO NOT open the door." He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone dropped off a baby He said they have not verified it, but have had several calls by women saying that they hear baby's cries outside their doors when they're home alone at night.
Please pass this on and DO NOT open the door for a crying baby ----
This article should probably be taken seriously because the Crying Baby theory was mentioned on America 's Most Wanted this past Saturday when they profiled the serial killer in Louisiana.

Washington Monument
Posted by Lisa at Friday, February 22, 2008
One detail that is never mentioned is that in Washington , D.C. there can never be a building of greater height than the Washington Monument .
With all the uproar about removing the ten commandments, etc., this is worth a moment or two of your time. I was not aware of this amazing historical information.
On the aluminum cap, atop the Washington Monument in Washington , D.C. , are displayed two words: Laus Deo.
No one can see these words. In fact, most visitors to the monument are totally unaware they are even there and for that matter, probably couldn't care less.
Once you know Laus Deo's history , you will want to share this with everyone you know. These words have been there for many years; they are 555 feet, 5.125 inches high, perched atop the monument, facing skyward to the Father of our nation, overlooking the 69 square miles which comprise the District of Columbia, capital of the United States of America.
Laus Deo! Two seemingly insignificant, unnoticed words. Out of sight and, one might think, out of mind, but very meaningfu lly placed at the highest point over what is the most powerful city in the most successful nation in the world.
So, what do those two words, in Latin, composed of just four syllables and only seven letters, possibly mean? Very simply, they say 'Praise be to God!'
Though construction of this giant obelisk began in 1848, when James Polk was President of the United States , it was not until 1888 that the monument was inaugurated and opened to the public. It took twenty-five years to finally cap the memorial with a tribute to the Father of our nation, Laus Deo 'Praise be to God!'
From atop this magnificent granite and marble structure, visitors may take in the beautiful panoramic view of the city with its division into four major segments. >From that vantage point, one can also easily see the original plan of the designer, Pierre Charles l'Enfant ..a perfect cross imposed upon the landscape, with the White House to the north. The Jefferson Memorial is to the south, the Capitol to the east and the Lincoln Memorial to the west.
A cross you ask? Why a cross? What about separation of church and state? Yes, a cross; separation of church and state was not, is not, in the Constitution. So, read on. How interesting and, no doubt, intended to carry a profound meaning for those who bother to notice.
Praise be to God! Within the monument itself are 898 steps and 50 landings. As one climbs the steps and pauses at the landings the memorial stones share a message.
· On the 12th Landing is a prayer offered by the City of Baltimore;
· on the 20th is a memorial presented by some Chinese Christians;
· on the 24th a presentation made by Sunday School children from New York and Philadelphia quoting Proverbs 10:7, Luke 18:16 and Proverbs 22:6. Praise be to God!
When the cornerstone of the Washington Monument was laid on July 4th, 1848 deposited within it were many items including the Holy Bible presented by the Bible Society. Praise be to God! Such was the discipline, the moral direction, and the spiritual mood given by the founder and first President of our unique democracy 'One Nation, Under God.'
I am awed by Washington 's prayer for America Have you ever read it? Well, now is your unique opportunity, so read on!
'Almighty God; We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy holy protection; that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government; and entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow citizens of the United States at large. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication, we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.'
Laus Deo!
When one stops to observe the inscriptions found in public places all over our nation's capitol, he or she will easily find the signature of God, as it is unmistakably inscribed everywhere you look. You may forget the width and height of 'Laus Deo ', its location, or the architects but no one who reads this will be able to forget its meaning, or these words: 'Unless the Lord builds the house its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.' (Psalm 127: 1)

Loan News
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 21, 2008Secured loans "attract rejected credit card customers." This news is really circulating around and I guess because life in this world is getting harder and harder. The nation's economy is going down and some of the people are blaming it to the government. The real estate market is also getting worst and a lot of houses have been repossessed. When will these things end, we don't know. I believe that a lot of people who are out of job right now need cash to buy the things they need. Some of them have a bad credit history that's why they can't apply for a credit card. If you are ready to cope up with this new changing society, you have to keep yourself out of all sorts of luxury with you. Now a days, the important things in life like paying the bills and buying foods are the top priority for everyone. You too have such thoughts but financial calamity can drag you from your passionate desire. Moreover if you are having bad credit history in the market then it will be very tedious to get loan amount through lenders. At this stage, Magic Loans will play a vital role and can easily put you on financial ease. They offer different kinds of loans like Homeowner Loan, secured loan, etc. You visit their site and find out more about the loan that's right for you.
Important Information
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 21, 2008[This was emailed by a friend who got this information from a US-based pharmacist who is a cousin of a colleague]
It seems only MALES are afflicted with this.
We had a co-staff/driver from FAO who died last month from supposedly BANGUNGOT-- leaving a housewife and 3 very young kids.
IMPORTANT: Never go thirsty when going to bed and be sure you have plenty of water during your 8-hour rest.
Bangungot has killed a male nurse of UERMMH. It is sudden death in adults which cause them to die while sleeping. Many theories have been put forward as its cause. However, here is an article which sheds some light to the cause of this malady.
Please read on:
Article from THE PHILIPPINE STAR:
The reported cause of actor Rico Yan's death is nightmare or bangungot. Medical investigators in China , Japan and several Asian countries who performed autopsies on persons who died from 'acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis' found out that the majority of them had eaten NOODLES as their supper. This was a startling finding.
However, it wasn't the noodles that caused nightmares but DEHYDRATION. Imbibing even with a few drinks of alcohol or just eating noodles immediately before bedtime compound this on an empty stomach will trigger an electrolyte imbalance and other factors that causes a person to dehydrate or lose water.
It is therefore advisable for a person to take several glasses of water before bedtime if he had a few or several alcoholic drinks. Avoid eating noodles before bedtime, but if you can not avoid it, allow at least two hours for the body to digest the noodles before hitting the sack and drink plenty
of water.
The most important thing is, never go thirsty when going to bed and be sure you have plenty of water during your 8-hour rest.

Ronald Reagan
Posted by Lisa at Sunday, February 17, 2008You don't realize how much you miss him, until you read and remember some of the stuff he said and stood for:
"Here's my strategy on the Cold War: We win, they lose."
- Ronald Reagan

"Government is like a baby: An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other." - Ronald Reagan
"The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a government program." - Ronald Reagan
"I've laid down the law, though, to everyone from now on about anything that happens: no matter what time it is, wake me, even if it's in the middle of a Cabinet meeting." - Ronald Reagan

Circle Of Friends
Posted by Lisa at Thursday, February 14, 2008This meme was from Vicki. Thanks a lot sis for this beautiful poem. Anger is only one letter short of danger If someone betrays you once, it is his fault; If he betrays you twice, it is your fault. Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people. He, who loses money, loses much; He, who loses a friend, loses much more; He, who loses faith, loses all. Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art. Learn from the mistakes of others You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself. Friends, you and me… You brought another friend… And then there were 3… We started our group… Our circle of friends… And like that circle… There is no beginning or end… Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. So now, let’s see how many circle’s of friends we can make by simply adding your link on this Friendship Meme! 1-Catsy Carpe Diem, 2- Catsy Downloads, 3-Out of the Blue, 4- A Day to Savor and Relish 5- A Piece of Idea 6- Write Shy 7- Stupid Wise 8-http://onlinememorylane.blogspot.com/ 9 - http://www.jk-nocargo.blogspot.com/Teacher’s Corner 10- Abby of Mom and the City 11 - Soulful Thoughts 10-http://mahalkaayo.blogspot.com/

Relax & Enjoy Life
Posted by Lisa at Friday, February 08, 2008They said that riding a bike is a good exercise. I'm not really good in riding a bike but I have a stationary bike at home that I used for my exercise. I know for sure that riding a regular bike outside is far better because you can breath fresh air and you enjoy the scenery while biking. Besides that, you can use it too for short commutes and it will save you gas. You will not encounter traffic problem too using a bike. While surfing online, I came across a site that sells beautiful, comfort beach cruiser bicycles for men, women and kids. You don't have to live in the beach to ride it. You can ride it anywhere you want. They have different models and colors to choose from. Beach cruiser bikes are known for their durability, heavy duty frames and thick balloon tires. They have large comfortable seats and low handle bars. Beach cruiser bikes have a wide variety of colors to choose from like black, blue, orange, etc. I love the pink color that they have. I think it looks neat and girly. I haven't own one like that in my lifetime yet. Beach cruiser bicycles are usually a one-speed but a few are made today with multi-speeds. In my own opinion, the multi-speed bikes are better because riders can adjust the speed that's suitable for them. Their 26" Shimano "Tourney" 7-Speed Beach Cruiser for ladies really captured my eyes. I like the style and color too. I believe this will be a hit for all ladies out there who are fond of biking. Ride a bike and enjoy life.

Managing Personal Finances
Posted by Lisa at Tuesday, February 05, 2008My hubby has been commending me that I'm very good in managing our finances. He knows that I am good in budgeting our income so we can be able to pay all our bills and not be in debt. I learned not to live beyond what we can afford. If it's not that important in our lives, I will not buy it. I grew up in a poor family that's why I know how hard it is to earn money and I value ever penny that we have. Most people don't know how to manage their finances. Most of them live beyond their means and they love to shop and shop until they drop. They use their plastic money or credit card to purchase the things they love and when it's time to pay, they can no longer afford to because of over spending. If you have this kind of problem, you need a professional help to solve your debt problems. If you're struggling with debts and don't know how to overcome it, you better check out this site that I just came across in the internet. Care One Credit is here to help you with your credit card debt consolidation. If you have lots of debt, consolidation may save you time and money. Depending on your financial situation, there may be a solution that's right for you. When you're struggling with lots of debt, debt consolidation may be an attractive solution. This term refers to combining your debts into one, and making one monthly payment to one creditor instead of making multiple payments to many creditors. You might even get out of debt faster and save money along the way. Debt consolidation comes in several forms, including credit counseling, balance transfers, and debt consolidation loans, so review your options carefully before making a decision. It really good to have somebody help you manage your personal finances so that in due time you will become debt free and you will be able to stand on your feet again.
